My life in pictures!

Ummm, K . . . so the last couple of weeks have been crazy . . . My cat Totembu, (the black cat with the shaved sides) passed away from Feline Leukemia virus. It was a really hard time as everyone in my family loved her very much. We're definitely going to miss her. The other two kittens pictured are the ones we adopted from the pet hospital! They are about 18 and 1/2 weeks old and are bubbly and love everyone. Mr. White's name is Link and the little brown and white one's name is Navi. (Gotta love The Legend of Zelda!!) The picture of snow was from when I fell on the ice and then scraped up my knee pretty badly hence the lovely picture of my very white knee . . . :P Anyways, last picture, presuming I get asked to prom, homecoming whatever this is totally the skirt I want to wear!! I am completely in love with it. :) and for only $40 it's a complete steal. Oooh, ooh! The video . . . ummm, that's of Link :) He's pretty cute, I'm not sure I even remember what the video is about . . . I remember thinking he was adorable though. Oooh, last thought, the kittens are brother and sister and they love each other so much!! It's pretty adorable.

Ships in Harbors

"A ship in harbor is safe but that is not what ships are built for."

So what are ships for? Sailing right? There are all kinds of ships, cruise ships, cargo ships, battle ships and no I'm not talking about the game :) They're all built for different purposes, obviously a cruise ship is to entertain us, battle ships are to help keep us safe, cargo ships carry food, clothes, etc to countries all over the world. I'm sure you're now wondering, "Sure, but what does this have to do with me?" Hold on :) I'm getting there.

Let's have you imagine something, we're going to have to stretch here ;) You're the boat. "Wait, wait! I'm the boat?" Yup, you're the boat. Now let me show you how we're getting there, we're all built for different purposes. Some of us are going to be teachers, others doctors, and still others are lawyers, policemen, makeup artists, software developers, salesmen, the list is practically endless. Oftentimes we fear we're bound to be the Titanic. We're afraid of unseen icebergs, rocks and other dangers the ocean, or life, throws our way. Whenever we set out on a journey to discover who we are, what our purpose is we're going to occasionally sink, but that's when we need to get back to the shore and repair our boats. And once we've sufficiently recovered it's time to go back out there and head in a new direction. Nobody is perfect. And not many people are going to find their right path the second they set out either. We need to understand that about each other as well.

Through out life there are going to be people we don't necessarily agree with. We might even strongly disagree with them. But we need to understand that we're only human. That no matter what we do we're never going to change them and it's pointless to try to. It's wasted energy. I had the most awesome opportunity to have the Challenge Day people come to our school and teach us all about people and how we can make this world such a lovely place.

Imagine! A world where every child feels loved, safe and celebrated? Proud of themselves and happy? I can only hope that we can get there. Because that's the kind of world I want to live in. As I participated in Challenge Day I learned how many trials we all go through. It's not just you who's having troubles . . . you may feel that no one understands but as we went through the day I learned that we all have hard times, we all know someone who's been hurt because of the influence of drugs and alcohol. We all know how horrible suicide is and often times everyone knows someone who has committed suicide. So many people have lost loved ones, so many have been physically, emotionally, even sexually abused. So many people hate going home because they're scared of their home. "a world where they feel safe, loved and celebrated."? I can only imagine.

Here I am today, challenging you to be the change, to wake up and see what's going on around you. Not being afraid to offer someone a hug, saying "I love you" when you do. Don't be afraid to go for it, don't be afraid to help someone reach their goals. We all have goals, we all have potential and we all deserve the highest respect from everyone.

You deserve everything you want in life. Whatever you want in this life, as long as you're not hurting any one, it deserves to be yours.

Sooooooooooo . . . Warm Milk Huh?

WARNING: THIS POST IS VERY RANDOM AND MIGHT BE HARD TO FOLLOW lol


That's kinda what my life has become these past few weeks . . . warm milk . . . we've fallen into a pattern here and I'm not quite sure how much I like it yet. I mean . . . life is supposed to be exciting and spontaneous and a little bit crazy!! I like scheduled craziness. And that just hasn't been happening a whole heck of a lot lately . . . It seems all I do is school, Little Shop of Horrors and watch youtube videos with a nap thrown in there because school is so exhausting!! (Chock it up to Psychology, Physics and English ooh and we can't forget the horrendous choir class yuck!!) Okay, I'm going to let you in on a little secret, want to know the real reason why I'm so tired all the time?

I knew you did!! Okay . . . well, here it is. I'm the therapist . . . yup, there it is. Anytime anyone has a rough day, it could be the cashier at walmart (no joke!!) they begin to tell me about it. Now, I can't complain too much just because I'm a complainer too . . . I'm a criticizer, if I see something I think could be better I point it out, that's just the way I am. Anyway, back to the point at hand, if I have several people telling me all about their days and how they didn't get anything done or "Sally broke up with me" or "James kissed Betty cheating on his girlfriend Nancy." Wanna know another secret? I'm very emotional . . . Initially I couldn't care less that Sally broke up with Harold, it doesn't matter to me until . . . they get emotional! And that's what they do!! They start either tearing up, or talking really softly or pretty much anything to indicate that they are feeling sad. And then it all of a sudden matters, because I'm a very emotional little girl! I'm good at feeling other's pain. It's weird. A gift if you will. or . . . a curse?

Oooooooooooooooookey dokey then. Ummmmmmmmmmmm . . .Today some crazy stuff happened to me, I'm going to give you a quick rundown of Little Shop of Horrors rehearsal today . . .
Go to rehearsal
Get yelled at by Mrs. Bleeperson for not knowing the notes that she "taught" us
Go and dance to a song we hadn't choreographed
Sit and watch Mr. Awesomeson block leads
Mrs. Bleeperson comes in and yells at us to come into the choir room and practice Skidrow
Practicing of Skidrow and The Meek Shall Inherit
Mrs. Bleeperson yells at the altos because they were (and I quote!) "Painful to listen to!!!"

And then it was over. Lovely huh? I'm pretty sure I couldn't have had a better time, be sure to catch the sarcasm in there. It was miserable!! By the end of that stupid rehearsal I was wanting to go up to Mrs. Bleeperson and sock her. She's a monster!!!!!! Yeah . . . maybe I shouldn't put this on the internet, but what are they going to do to me? Suspend me for having an opinion? Freedom of speech people!! Yah, I went there.

I probably should make some meaning to this post, but quite honestly there wasn't one except to vent . . . Soooooo, I hope you're having a wonderful day!!!

Oooh! Oooh! EDIT:
I forgot why I even started this post!! Yah, to vent, but I had a specific topic and I never got to it!! :P silly girl. Anyways . . . I decided that I need new inspiration for makeup . . . I can see any tutorial on youtube, any look in a magazine or on a blog and have either done something like it before or am not interested in it. Like this . . .




Would never wear this in a million years except for maybe on halloween . . .



Now this, this is more my style . . . and I've also done it about a million times . . . As I was researching some of the "Craziest makeup trends" (oh dear!) I stumbled upon a page that said "13 craziest makeup trends you have to try before you die" Okay . . . sounds fair enough and fun. Now I'm reading it, now my eyes are widening, glancing at the pictures and thinking . . . "Oh dear. I've already done all of this . . ."AGHH!!! Soooooooooo . . . basically what I'm trying to say is . . . Inspiration? anybody?
