Walking down the hall
Marble tears pool into her blue-gray eyes
Rolling softly down her cheeks
For she will never be his
His laugh, his smile
For her making nothing worthwhile
The other girls, they have so much
And now she constantly trying to have the right touch
Their beauty, their wit, their constant charm
For which she would gladly give a leg or an arm
And now here comes the last day for which she lives
For there is no alternative
So here lies the close of her sad tale
And she will never that love letter mail
Death and pain are her only escape
Her spirit there for eternity, without her love . . .
Forever on a jagged landscape
Like I said, please please comment! Thanks a ton!
Here is my heartfelt observation: I like it.
ReplyDeleteNow, I'll continue to ask some questions: Why is it the last day she'll live? Suicide? Kinda dark...How old is this woman/girl? A crush in junior high or high school is hardly the beginning or end of anything. I do really like the depiction of a jagged landscape. That's new and refreshing. Also, why isn't there any mention of vampires? :D

It's really well written, but really depressing. Honestly, life won't end because a guy doesn't like you (hopefully...). :) You're such a great writer, Haylee!
